A sweet mix of detail and sharp beefy lines. This one was a lot of fun to work on. From the gallery of . This is the first time I've done inks on his pencils and I really enjoyed it.
I'm working on some of Luis's lines just now, and they really are fun to work with. As for your inking here - I think it could do with a little more lineweight variance to separate the figures a bit more, but otherwise it's good work, and doesn't lose any of the life of Luis's pencils.
Nah, I wouldn't think a redo is necessary. This is nice work, man. The only reason I left that comment at all is because you requested critique. These inks would be absolutely fine to work on, but if you want to keep upping your game, just consider a bit more line-weighting for future work. You've been very faithful to the original pencils here, and while Luis's lineweights are good, they could perhaps use a wee push further on occasion to bump definition.
Absolutely, man. And I very much appreciate the comment you left. A lot of times my redo pile turns into more of a motivational tool for future pieces than files that I actually go in to rework.
